About us
Standpoint Counseling Services LLC is a growing practice. We are neurodivergent affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and social justice oriented. We currently provide individual therapy services to adults in PA, MD, and KY and our lead clinician and owner Shannon Grimsley is a specialist in OCD and anxiety disorders. Our ideal candidate will need to support our mission and values to support clients from diverse backgrounds and engages in ongoing self-reflection and personal growth.
Position Description
This is a contractual/1099 position open to therapists with a valid, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state of PA (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or licensed psychologist). You will be paid a 60/40 split (you receive 60%). We will panel you with insurance, provide our own staff to process and bill insurance, and optionally manage your schedule. We will provide you with new client referrals and help you to support a regular caseload of between 5 – 30 clients per week. As an independent contractor, you can choose your caseload size and set your own hours. We will pay for your EHR, a HIPAA secure video platform, and google workspace (with BAA) including a business email address and a business phone number. You must have your own malpractice insurance and fast and reliable internet. Our practice is currently 100% telehealth; this is a fully remote position.
Minimum Requirements
Valid, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state of PA upon hire (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or licensed psychologist).
Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
At least two years of experience providing therapy post master’s degree.
Specialized training in a specific modality or niche area is a bonus. While we are currently specializing in anxiety disorders and OCD we welcome other specialty areas to diversify the support we can give our clients.
What you’ll be doing
Conduct assessments to identify clients' concerns, goals, and strengths
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals
Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to residents of PA.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health issues
Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice
